Welcome to Art House East Studios, an artist-run creative project space in Historic Handley, Fort Worth with three working resident studios, a gallery and a versatile venue with potential to grow into a hub for community and artistic resources.
Founded in 2025 by musician Marcus Gonzales, and visual artist and educator, Michelle Cortez Gonzales. ArtHouse East is built on the belief that local creativity deserves a home that’s accessible, warm, and full of possibilities.
Our space is for emergent visual artists, musicians, makers, neighbors, and supporters excited to build something meaningful. Whether you’re looking for a place to exhibit your artwork, seeking a venue for a private event rental, or looking to attend a creative workshop or gallery program, you’re invited to connect with what’s growing on the East Side.

We supply the materials, a curated music playlist, and a great vibe, so you can focus on good conversation and creative freedom. Mingle, learn from fellow crafters, and leave with a new skill or friend. No experience required!

For the Halloween season, we're setting a chill and moody vibe with dim lights, dream pop & trip hop sounds. You'll learn the 'pinch pot' and 'slab-building' techniques to create a custom vessel.
Artisanal Threads: An Embroidery Workshop

Thread the needle, lower your shoulders, and zone out. We’re throwing it back to traditional craft. Create custom hoop art to a curated R&B music playlist. No experience required.
